Join us for an exciting day at Argyle Feed’s Chick Day on Saturday, March 2, 2024! This day-long event will be held at the Argyle Feed store from 10 AM to 2 PM. We have a lineup of fantastic activities and contests including free lunch, fun, and prizes. 

We encourage you to bring your chickens to Chick Day and enter them in our contests! Here is the schedule:

10:00 AM – Largest & smallest egg contest! Bring your homegrown eggs and enter our egg contest. 
10:20 AM – Most exotic-looking rooster & hen. Bring in your exotic roosters and hens for a chance to win prizes!
10:40 AM – Chicken Costume Contests!
     Most Crazy/Colorful Chicken Outfit or Best Hat Chicken: For kids ages 1-12, show off your creativity and dress your chickens! 
     Best Career Chicken Costume: For ages 13 & above, dress those chickens as your dream career for a chance to win!
11:20 AM – Chicken Chat: Learn the basics about raising chickens, nutrition, and the benefits of raising a flock. 
Noon: Lunch! Participants are welcome to join us for a free lunch! 

Exciting prizes await the winners, including Happy Hen Treats, Kids Toy Sets, Cups, Store Hats, Chicken Waterers, and Chicken Feeders. Plus, all participants will be eligible for a special offer of Buy 3, Get 1 FREE baby chick purchased during the event, until 2 PM. You can access our 2024 chick schedule here.
